Privacy Policy | Roadster Flying Car
In force from 20 October 2026.
1. Overview
Roadster Flying Car is an online service at roadsterflyingcar.com (the "Service"). You pick a template or scene and submit the photos it asks for (one photo of your car for Roadster Ramp; one photo of yourself and one of your car for Make My Car Fly; a portrait, a car photo, both, or portraits of two adults for the other flying car scenes), and AI models generate a fictional clip of about 10 or 12 seconds, delivered as a vertical 9:16 MP4. This policy describes the personal information involved in that flow, how we use it, which parties receive it and how we protect it.
2. What Data Is Involved
The information we have depends on which parts of the Service you use. It falls into these groups:
- Account information: your name, email address, login identifiers, profile settings, stored preferences and session records.
- Photos and clips: the photos you upload (depending on the template or scene: your car, a portrait of you, or portraits of two adults), the template, scene and settings you pick, every MP4 produced, the progress of each job and when it happened. Completed clips are kept in My Creations inside your account.
- Payments and credits: the pack or monthly or yearly plan you bought, your credit balance, order numbers, whether each charge succeeded, your billing email, invoices, renewal state and limited payment metadata. Card details are entered directly with the external payment processor and do not pass through our servers.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser type, device and operating system, pages opened, timing of requests, error logs, performance measurements and signals that help us spot misuse.
- Correspondence: support messages, reports about content, privacy requests, feedback and our replies in the same conversation.
- Cookies and comparable storage: the items that keep you signed in, secure your session and let essential features work.
3. Why We Use It
This information lets us:
- Provide the video maker, your account, My Creations, credits and subscriptions
- Confirm your identity when you log in, maintain your session and help you recover access if you are locked out
- Pass your uploaded photos and the instructions of the chosen template or scene to the models that render it, and deliver the finished file back to you
- Complete purchases, add and deduct credits, restore credits after a failed or safety-blocked render, issue invoices and process cancellations or refunds
- Identify prohibited material, fraud, security incidents and misuse of the Service
- Diagnose failed renders, monitor page performance and improve the product using aggregated usage figures
- Respond when you contact us about help, content, legal issues or privacy
- Meet what the law requires of us and uphold our Terms of Service
Which legal basis applies depends on your location. It can be the need to perform our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating a safe service, compliance with a legal duty, or your consent where the law requires it.
4. Uploaded Photos and Generated Clips
Your uploaded photos serve a single purpose: they are the visual references for the clip you request. To create that clip, the photos go to external AI model providers and the hosting, storage and safety services that support them, and those providers do the rendering. The Service currently uses these models, all reached through the API provider Kie:
- ByteDance Seedance video models (shown in the maker as Seedance 2.0 Mini and Seedance 2.5) render every clip from your photos.
- OpenAI GPT Image 2 prepares reference frames from your photos for Make My Car Fly before the video is rendered.
- A Google Gemini model looks at the Roadster Ramp photo once to tell whether it shows a vehicle.
We will update this list if models are added or replaced. Automated safety tools may review the photo and the resulting video to detect prohibited content.
We do not create facial-recognition templates from your photos or use it to identify anyone. Only upload a photo of yourself or of an adult who has agreed to its use, and a photo of a car you own or have permission to use. Some scenes take a second person's portrait; before uploading it, make sure that adult agrees to the photo being used and to the clip being shared. We process it in the same way as your own photo, and that person can contact us at support@roadsterflyingcar.com to use their privacy rights. Do not upload pictures of celebrities or public figures, of anyone younger than 18, pictures meant to impersonate someone or deceive viewers, or personal data you are not entitled to share.
Our project operates on its own. It has no affiliation with Tesla, Inc., SpaceX or any carmaker, Tesla and Roadster are trademarks of their owner, and the clips we generate are fictional rather than footage of any real vehicle.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We rely on essential cookies or similar storage to keep you logged in, protect your account and operate the core video maker. Visitor statistics come from Plausible, an analytics service that sets no cookies and counts visits without tracking individuals from site to site. Should we introduce optional tools that legally require consent, we will ask for it before enabling them.
Your browser settings let you manage cookies. If you block the essential ones, you will usually be logged out and the video maker will stop working.
6. Who Receives Your Information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the recipients listed here, and only as far as necessary:
- AI video generation and safety providers, which get your photo and render request in order to produce and check your clip
- Hosting and storage providers, which operate the website and store uploaded photos and finished clips
- The payment processor shown at checkout, which takes payment for packs and subscriptions and handles refunds, fraud checks and tax or billing duties
- Email, authentication, monitoring and support providers, including Cloudflare Email, which we use for messages such as receipts and account notices
- Authorities or other third parties, when a law or legal process requires disclosure, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is needed to protect users, rights, safety or the Service
- A new owner, if the Service is merged, acquired, funded, restructured or sold, subject to appropriate safeguards
Each provider is contractually limited to using the data for the job it was hired to do and must keep it confidential and secure.
7. How Long We Keep Data
Our retention is limited to what is reasonably necessary for running the Service, keeping your My Creations history available, staying secure, resolving disagreements, enforcing our agreements and fulfilling legal, tax, accounting or regulatory duties.
- Account details, photos and clips may be retained while your account stays open or while history is switched on.
- Uploaded photos and finished clips may stay in your history or in the storage used to serve them to you.
- Billing and transaction records are retained for as long as tax, accounting, payment, anti-fraud and dispute rules require.
- Security logs and support records are retained for a reasonable time based on operational and legal needs.
After we verify a deletion or account-closure request, eligible personal data is deleted or de-identified within 30 calendar days. Encrypted backups can remain for up to 90 additional days before they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation. Certain records may be kept longer where needed for legal compliance, fraud prevention, chargebacks, resolving disputes or defending legal claims.
8. Rights You Can Exercise
Subject to the law where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:
- Know which categories of personal data we collect, how we use them and who we share them with
- Access your personal data or receive a copy of it
- Correct account information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Have eligible personal data erased and your account shut down
- Limit or object to particular processing
- Obtain some of your data in a portable format that machines can read
- Withdraw any consent you gave earlier
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails while continuing to receive receipts and security messages
- Lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country or region
Making a request
Send an email to support@roadsterflyingcar.com from your account's registered address, using the subject Privacy Request or Account Deletion Request. Tell us whether you want access, correction, export, restriction, objection, closure or deletion, and which account or data it concerns.
We may ask for reasonable proof of identity so that we do not disclose or delete someone else's information. Eligible requests are acknowledged and carried out no later than 30 calendar days after they reach us. If the law allows an extension for a complex request, we will explain the reason and give a new completion date. Some profile details, such as your name, can be edited yourself in Settings.
Some records survive account closure: payment, security, fraud and dispute history that the law makes us retain, or that we reasonably need in order to protect users and the Service.
9. Cross-Border Processing
We and our providers may process information outside the country where you live. Where legally required, such transfers are protected by measures such as contractual clauses, recognised adequacy arrangements and access restrictions.
10. Security Measures
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, such as encrypted connections, access restrictions, credential protection, logging and, where appropriate, content-safety and anti-abuse checks. No service on the internet can promise complete security.
If a personal-data incident happens that the law requires us to report, we will inform affected users and the relevant authorities within the legal time limit.
11. Minors
Children under 13 are not the audience for the Service, and we never knowingly gather personal information from them. If the law that applies to you sets a higher minimum age, that age applies as well. Never upload photos of minors. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will look into it and delete eligible data.
12. Links to Other Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, for example the social platforms where you post your clip. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover information they collect independently.
13. Updates to This Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy as the Service, our providers or applicable law evolve. Updated versions will be posted here with a new date at the top, and we will provide additional notice of significant changes where the law requires it.
14. Contact
