Getting the colour and the shape right
- Red and other bright paint: hard midday sun can push a red car toward orange or pink in a photo, and the maker copies what it sees. Even daylight or open shade keeps the colour closer to your Ferrari’s real paint.
- Long-hood coupe (Roma): the long hood and short tail are the shape to show. A front three-quarter shot from about 45° captures both; the maker works out the rear, which is what the clip follows.
- Low sports coupe (488, 296): the rear is what the camera sees most. A rear three-quarter shot with the whole car in frame gives the maker the tail lights and the rear bumper directly.
- Spider or convertible: roof up gives the clearest roofline; with the roof down, the cabin is rebuilt by the model and can change between attempts.
- Keep it clean: the whole car in frame and nothing in front of it. Badges and the plate need no hiding: the maker removes them.
- Use your own photos, or photos you have permission to use, of the person and of the car. No celebrities or public figures.
